Anne began her career in Wealth Management in 1989. She started as a Financial Planner for the Berkshire Insurance Group in San Diego. In the early 1990’s, she worked at Jack White and Company (currently TD Ameritrade), while obtaining her MBA from San Diego State University at night. Anne spent the next 10 years working at Brandes Investment Partners in San Diego. During her tenure at Brandes, Anne helped structure and build the Portfolio Management Department during a period where the firm grew assets from $1 Billion to over 100 Billion. Anne served on the investment committee as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Analyst. She led a portfolio management team devoted to private client accounts. In addition, Anne covered the European and North American retail industry as an analyst.
In 2003, Anne moved to Coronado with her family and retired from full-time employment to raise her three children. Anne has stayed active in the industry by managing her family accounts. She served as a Board member for the CFA Society of San Diego and more recently has worked part-time on and off for The Gensler Group in Coronado.
Anne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kalamazoo College, MI. She holds her Master’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance from San Diego State University. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) in 1999 and she completed her Certified Financial Planning designation. (CFP) in 2015.
Anne resides in Coronado with her husband and three children. She is a remarried widow and is passionate about serving women in transition. She enjoys volunteering in the local schools, her church, and women’s groups.
